I’ve been wanting a new welcome sign for our home. When we first got the house I got one that has a fall theme, which I still adore. I also want one for the rest of the year though, and I could not decide what to do to save my life! I looked at Micheals on a regular basis but all of their summery signs were very young. Perfect for a kid’s playhouse or something, but not really what I was looking for. Then I came across this at The Idea Room! I am so excited I found this! Of course everything is a little different, but it is perfect! It has depth to it (which was making me hesitant about doing something on a canvas) and looks cute and crafty and grown up! I decided on a blueish background so that it would contrast with the yellow in the walls, and decided on a couple of old fashioned keys instead of the flowers. I can’t get over how much I like how it turned out!
