Wow. It’s already spring (hello allergies!), which means its time for another round of the One Room Challenge! I did pass on the fall ORC this last time. Something about spring is just more motivating. Like spring cleaning. Except this is very much not cleaning. Everything gets messy, and then cleaned up at the very end. I feel like I can almost take my sweet time with this next project now that the One Room Challenge has wrapped up. And knowing that wrapping up my craft room exterior will basically finish our backyard makes me kind of sad. Like, what do people do without huge projects to do? Relax? I’m sure I will come up with something.
I feel like I went into a major hibernation this winter. We haven’t done a single thing since we got the patio poured, and I have to say, it’s been a nice break. But now, over two months later, I am itching to pick up where we left off and get this backyard into shape!
Now that the One Room Challenge is over, I can go back to my normal routine of house dreaming and stalking. My dream is to get a vacation home somewhere. I switch between the beach and the mountains on a regular basis, but lately I have definitely been leaning towards the beach. Could be the warmer weather and my need for some salt water.
It’s that time of year! It felt like such a great accomplishment last fall when we completed the laundry area that I really want to participate in the One Room Challenge – Spring Edition. I think this time around will be a little less stressful and a lot less of a last-minute time crunch. And I can’t wait to see the rooms that everyone decides to make-over!
