The One Room Challenge Week 3 update is here! It’s been super hard waiting to plant all of my flowers, but luckily there is plenty to keep me busy. The hubby reminded me that we should wait for the painters to be done so that way there is no chance of everything getting trampled. We didn’t take into account that the wind might knock them over and give the dogs the fun activity of going through them, but lucky for us, most of the plants survived! The dogs survived too. Zero issues.
Prep work is always the funnest part of projects, right? Can I be honest? It’s not my favorite. I really like to see the finished product, not the well-I-put-in-a-ton-of-work-and-can-barely-see-progress product. But that’s okay. In my heart, I know it will all get better and easier from here!
I can’t believe I am saying this, but a whole three years ago I decided to start a blog and write my first post. I remember not really knowing what I wanted my little blog to be like. Should it be more like a tutorial for my projects? Or more design? Or just me rambling about life during a remodel? I think I have finally gotten it down to a mixture of the three, and I love how far it has come.
It’s that time of year! It felt like such a great accomplishment last fall when we completed the laundry area that I really want to participate in the One Room Challenge – Spring Edition. I think this time around will be a little less stressful and a lot less of a last-minute time crunch. And I can’t wait to see the rooms that everyone decides to make-over! It’s time to choose a house color! We have been looking at house colors since about the day we moved in. The green on our house just doesn’t make us happy. There’s just nothing special about it.
